The Cake Tin is based in Yorkshire, but we cover a much larger area.

For event orders, we offer a nationwide delivery service. The delivery options depend on your order, so just get in touch for more information.

If you're ordering anything from our menu, we will deliver anywhere in Yorkshire and the surrounding areas. Our delivery is charged at 40p a mile, and for all deliveries over 20 miles we have a minimum order value (excluding delivery) of £35. All orders can also be collected.

As all of our products are made to order, it is best to give us a much notice as you can. We have a booking system for event orders, so the sooner you book, the more availability we have.

For everything on our menu, we ideally need 48 hours notice. However, we'll always try and provide what you need, when you need it, so just get in touch and we'll do our best to get it sorted for you.

You can place your order by phone or email and upon ordering, you will receive an order confirmation by email to notify you that we have accepted your order. 

Because we make our products to order, the final product can vary every time. The images on our website are for display purposes and there's always the chance that your freshly made product may look slightly different.

When you place your order we will send you an order confirmation email, including an invoice detailing the full payment options and deadlines. We can accept cheques, cash or bank transfers.

For event orders, we will ask for a 50% deposit, payable within a month of when the booking is confirmed. The remaining 50% is payable no later than seven days before the event.

If you are ordering any of our products, full payment is required upon placing your order, or upon delivery by special arrangement.

If you wish to add to or amend your order, or change your agreed delivery options, we will accommodate these changes as far as possible. A minimum of seven days notice would be required (if the order has been placed seven days or more before the delivery date).

If for any reason you wish to cancel your event order, we require two weeks notice. In this event, we would retain your 50% deposit. If cancellation is made after this time, full payment would be due.
